STATE OF THE ART EQUIPMENT

This micro-tunneling boring machine is one of three working on the project. This machine will tunnel under the Marina del Rey Channel installing the sewer pipeline.

PREPARED FOR LAUNCH

The micro-tunneling boring machine is placed at Via Dolce and Marquesas Way in Venice to install the first sewer section of the project near the Venice Pumping Plant.

GROUND STABILIZATION ON VIA MARINA

Workers use large machines to stabilize the ground to build the tunnel access point on Via Marina at Tahiti Way in Marina del Rey.

OUR FIRST LOCATION IN PLAYA DEL REY

Workers use machines to inject grout into the soils near the Ballona Creek Bridge at Pacific Avenue and 62nd Avenue. This activity increases safety prior to any soil excavation.

HYPERION WATER RECLAMATION PLANT

As the City's primary water reclamation plant, Hyperion is one of the largest treatment facilities in the world. It has been operating since 1925 and has a capacity of 450 million gallons per day (mgd), up to 800 mgd during wet weather.
