PURPOSE OF PRODUCT:
Improves soil structure and porosity creating a better plant root environment. Supplies organic matter, increases moisture infiltration and permeability reducing runoff. Improves moisture retention and ability to hold nutrients for plant use. Encourages vigorous root growth.

Composted yard trimmings, horse manure and wood chips.

SUGGESTED DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Cultivate one to two inches of existing top soil into the top six to eight inches of existing top soil. It is best to mix soil first, then apply compost, then mix compost and loosened soil again. Do not put plants into 100% compost.
For Seed Bed Preparations:
Use between one and a half cubic yards per 1000 square feet (112" thick) to a maximum of three cubic yards per 1000 square feet (one inch thick)
For Vegetable Gardens, Flower Beds, and Sod Preparation
Use between three cubic yards per 1000 square feet (112" thick) to a maximum of six cubic yards per 1000 square feet (two inches thick)
For House Plants:
Spread one tablespoon per six inch pot or about 1/8" of compost evenly over the top of the soil and water. Repeat every six months or when required.
For Backfilling Trees:
Mix one part of compost with three parts of native soil and backfill around root ball.
