PGL leads an aggressive engineering recruitment program seeking entry-level Environmental Engineering Associates (EEAs) and Student Engineers for full-time and part-time positions. Every fall, LASAN holds its annual Engineer Day. This year we will be on Zoom again with a half day of programming. The event invites engineering students to come learn about LASAN, gain an understanding of our hiring process and core programs, and hear from some of our recent hires. The interactive sessions are followed by a tour, virtual this year. Admission is free and open to students studying chemical, civil, and environmental engineering at colleges and universities across the US. We do accept resumes at career fairs.INFORMATION SESSIONSInformation sessions allow LASAN to inform and share information about career opportunities (entry level positions, internships, etc.) with potential Environmental Engineering Associate and Student Engineer candidates in an informal setting. Through a presentation and Q&A, students are able to familiarize themselves with LASAN's diverse projects. Students also have the opportunity to submit a resume if they wish.ON-CAMPUS INTERVIEWSThese events provide students with convenient opportunities to interview for entry level positions or internships at LASAN without having to leave campus. Please note that interviews will be conducted remotely until further notice.
LASAN and the recruitment efforts of the Project Green Leadership (PGL) program are driven to hire future environmental engineers and leaders that will help turn the City of Los Angeles and the surrounding communities into the biggest, greenest, most sustainable City in the nation.
The PGL team represents LASAN by attending several outreach events during the academic year.
