Proposition O

Proposition O, overwhelmingly approved by LA City residents in the November 2004 election, authorizes the City to issue $500 million in general bonds for watershed protection projects that enhance public health and our environment by: cleaning up and preventing pollution of our waterways and beaches

• improving or protecting water quality
• providing flood protection
• increasing water conservation
• increasing habitat protection
• increasing open space
