To make a request for Channel and Debris Basin Cleaning, you must call and provide:

• Location of Problem
  
• Type of problem being reported

The Process

• You may call the Headquarters Administration Office or the District Yard
• If Headquarters is called, the location will be determined and call-back information will be obtained from you; this information will be telephoned to the appropriate District Yard
• If you contact the District Yard directly, the above call-back information will be obtained
• The District Supervisor will investigate and determine the current condition of the channel or debris basin and the last time it was inspected or cleaned
• The District Supervisor will investigate and determine the cleaning schedule and arrange for cleaning
• The District Supervisor will provide you with a verbal status report immediately following field verification of the complaint.

How Long Will it Take?

Complaints or requests for channel and/or debris basin cleaning are investigated immediately; however, depending upon the time of the year and the backlog, cleaning may be delayed.

Every effort is made to complete channel and debris basin cleaning at the time complaints are received in order to prevent flooding or overflows during the rain season.
