No place for our trash - Most people have no idea that our trash gets buried underground at a place called Sunshine Canyon Landfill. But this site will be full in approximately 18 years and no more landfills will be sited in Los Angeles County. Combine this fact with the projected growth in the City of 360,000 new people over the next 30 years and you begin to understand that soon we will face the problem of having no place for our trash.
