Extra Capacity Tags
Temporary Tags for additional Trash or Yard Waste

Residents who occasionally generate extra trash or yard trimmings can order Extra Capacity Tags for $2.00 each. They are sold in multiples of five "only" and limited to 25 tags per household per calendar year. These tags are non-refundable. These tags may be attached to a plastic bag (30 lbs. weight), a bundle of brush/yard trimming (4ft in length, 30 lbs weight) or any non-City issued container 30-gallon container (30 lbs weight that will be disposed of by our driver). Residents just attach tag for each extra trash bag, bundle and container for our drivers to collect. Tags may be purchased by mail (allow 2-3 weeks) or by visiting the closest district yard. Make check or money order payable to "City of Los Angeles" and mail to 11050 Pendleton Street, Sun Valley, CA 91352. Tags can also be purchased at the District Offices, from Monday through Friday, between 10:00a.m.-2:00 p.m. For more information, please call 1-800-773-2489, Monday through Friday, 7:30a.m.- 4:45p.m.
