Environmentally Preferable Purchasing (EPP)
What We Can Do For You! The Solid Resources Citywide Recycling Division (SRCRD) currently runs the Environmentally Preferable Purchasing (EPP) Program for the City of Los Angeles. SRCRD provides in depth training for City departments and vendors in order to help promote a good understanding of the EPP program. SRCRD will remain up to date on new green products, and new content requirements, and will continue to be a guide for the City and its vendors on green purchasing.
These are the types of services we can provide:
- Training classes on EPP practices
- Assistance on the creation of product specifications
- Assistance with vendor end-user contacts
- Testing for new EPP products
- Information regarding new content requirements, new products, and new “best practices.”
SRCRD will help you with information on EPP products and specifications that may be of use to you in your office and at home. Please feel free to check the EPP website . Also, please feel free to ask for the EPP brochure, as well as the “How to Get in the Loop” brochure for more information on the program.
