What We Can Do For You!
Solid Resources Citywide Recycling Division (SRCRD) develops and implements effective and cost-effective source reduction, recycling, and re-use programs and policies. SRCRD provides technical assistance to City Departments, private sector businesses, multi-family complexes, and the community.
SRCRD is presently registering multifamily residential buildings
(five units or more) for a FREE recycling program that will begin
in midsummer 2007. Multifamily residential properties participating
in the program will receive the following:
- FREE recycling service once a week
- Blue bins for storage of recyclables
- Educational information for residents about materials accepted
in the blue bins

What We Need From You!
If you are interested in registering your multifamily residential
building, please call 1-800-773-2489 or email multifamily@lacity.org.
Please provide the following information:
- name and phone number
- address of request service
- area of city (ex. Valley Village, Northridge)
- zip code
- type of building (ex. apartment, condominium, mixed use, mobile
home)
- number of units
Tenants should provide a
contact name and phone number for the building owner or property manager.
Condominium owners should provide a contact name and number for their
homeowners association.
